Bio-Rad Laboratories is looking to recruit an outgoing and result-oriented Proteomics Field Application Specialist to support and drive business in our solutions related to Western Blot workflow (including imaging solutions), Chromatography and Custom Antibody Services in Sweden and Finland.

As a Field Application Specialist your main function will be to ensure successful sales result within your application area by collaborating with Account Managers and Regional Sales Specialists on sales projects. About the position
Key responsibilities include:
• Plan, perform and follow up sales activities to ensure high value customers and market segments are targeted and engaged. Focus here is on Key Opinion Leaders and Key Decision Makers at strategically important customer accounts
• Work together with all internal functions to effectively promote the Proteomics product solution portfolios to customers and grow revenue and profitability.
• Organize and deliver customer facing seminars, product demonstrations and post sales trainings
• Provide field support for customers and collaborate with Technical Support to help solve challenges for our customer
• Ensure and deliver relevant training internally to Account Managers in the Proteomics area and support the team to build their knowledge in this field.
• Actively seek to maintain expert understanding of the technology and applications within the area or responsibility. Keep a basic knowledge about the full product portfolio to identify new sales opportunities.


Your profile
Key qualifications include:
• High level of knowledge and experience of using Western Blot, Imaging and Chromatography techniques.
• Academic degree (e.g. MSc or PhD) in a relevant scientific discipline
• Sales experience and/or laboratory experience is required.
• Previous experience working in sales or technical support in the life sciences market is a strong plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English is a requirement. This includes experience in presenting at seminars, workshops, or trainings customers/colleagues.
• Driver’s License is required
