Prototype Engineer (Entry-level)

We are now looking for a creative and handy Prototype Engineer with a deep interest in electronics to strengthen our product department.
Prototyping at Exeger
At the Exeger site in downtown Stockholm, the prototype team is responsible for building the next generation products and concepts. We are making sure the devices we all love and use daily have endless energy through ambient light charging – either on our own or in collaboration with some of the world’s leading manufacturers of consumer electronics.
As a Prototype Engineer, you will work in close collaboration with other Prototype Engineers as well as in projects with other departments such as mechanics, design and sales. You will be involved in building prototypes from scratch as well as modifying already existing products. You will build your own circuit boards and program them so that it works as desired and glue, paint and cut the product so that the solution works as expected. You will work with both HW and SW design, development, design verification and modification of existent and new functionalities. In addition, you will participate in internal research projects to learn more about the latest technology.

Through education and/or experience you have developed great design and technical skills including knowledge of PCB layout/design (Altium/Eagle), embedded development (C/C++) and lab-and test instruments.

We believe you have a BSc or MSc within electronics, engineering physics or similar as well as strong troubleshooting abilities, attention to details, interpersonal skills and perform well under deadlines.
