At Heart Aerospace we develop the ES-30, a regional electric airplane with a capacity of 30 passengers driven by electric motors with battery derived energy. The ES-30 is expected to enter into service in 2028.

Role Overview
We are looking for a Prototyping Technician with Electro-Electronics background to join our Advanced Design and Prototyping Team. You will be working in a small and very multidisciplinary team involved in a broad range of activities. To succeed in this role, we see that you enjoy “hands-on” work and is passionate about aircraft and flight simulation. A start-up mindset and self-motivation are very important as well. Additionally, you enjoy taking on difficult challenges and finding innovative solutions, you readily adapt to change, and you are motivated and driven to continually learn and improve.
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Work as part of a team to build mockups, proof of concepts, test rigs and other sorts of prototypes
- Operate and maintain Heart’s Integrated Test Facility
- Assist in the management and maintenance of the hangar facilities
- Perform inspection, troubleshooting and repair of electro-electronic equipment
- Oversee and maintain the goods-in receiving area and supervise local logistics
- Ensure safe working practices
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduated from Technical Gymnasium with emphasis on Electro-Electronics, Mechatronics or Automation
- Interest in flight simulation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Eagerness to work with others
- Passion for aircraft and Heart’s mission
The ideal candidate would have
- At least 1 year of experience with similar tasks and responsibilities
- Computer programming knowledge
- Knowledge of CAD & CAM
- Fork-lift truck license
- Strong organisational skills
