About Heart Aerospace
Heart’s mission is to create the most affordable and sustainable mode of transport for regional travel. Our goal is to serve the market in every corner of the world.
Our first aircraft is the ES-19, a nineteen-passenger airliner with an operating range of 400 km. The ES-19 is a fully electric aircraft, and our goal is to have the aircraft certified for commercial operation by 2026.
Your place of work will be at our main office and hangar facility. This is located at Säve Airport in Gothenburg, Sweden. Relocation assistance can be provided. We seek a motivated mechanical technician to join our small, fast moving team developing a new electric aircraft in Sweden. We’re in a very expansive phase and now is the time to join our team.

Role Description
To succeed in this role, we see that you have a passion for working in and around aircraft, are skilled with hand assembly processes and mechanical engineering construction. You are a responsible, practical person who enjoys a “hands-on” role and you can work both independently and as part of a small team. Additionally, you enjoy taking on difficult challenges and finding innovative solutions, you readily adapt to change, and you are motivated and driven to continually learn and improve.
Your responsibilities will be to:

Assist in the management and development of aircraft hangar facilities

Work as part of a team to construct workshops, labs and aviation test rigs

Build-up an appropriate inventory of tools and equipment to support engineering developments

Perform inspection, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical equipment

Oversee and maintain the goods-in receiving area and supervise local logistics

Ensure safe working practices
Qualifications & Experience

Knowledge of Cad & Cam
-
Completed Health and Safety training (BAM training or similar)

Metal working (Lathe, CNC Machining, Welding, Panel beating)

Wood working (General construction)

3D Printing
-
Fork-lift truck license
-
Knowledge of local area / engineering suppliers is an advantage
