We are now looking for a PTP Accountant to join the Purchase to Pay (PtP) team within the Global Business Service Center (GBS).
As a PTP Accountant there is great opportunity and variety in activity day to day….
The PtP organization in the GBS hold the end-to-end process ownership for the PtP processes and perform the day-to-day transactional PtP activities.
The purpose of the position is to deliver services to GBS customers and suppliers, as set out in SLAs, by performing accounting tasks outlined in the processes and procedures in place for GBS in general and the PtP process areas in particular.
As PtP Accountant you are an ambassador of the Mölnlycke brand and act in line with Mölnlycke values, strategy and purpose. You execute upon finance operational delivery and adhere to KPI’s.
Key Responsibilities:
Scan, verify, process and register vendor invoices (PO and non-PO)
Cooperate with local sites / GBS customers to solve discrepancies and queries as outlined in SLA
Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual closing and reporting by performing accounting tasks like monthly accruals for vendor invoices, reconciliations of accounts and investment and asset handling
Documentation and archiving tasks
Active participate in decided meeting structure(s), improvement and development initiatives / projects related to the Purchase to Pay process
Proactively propose continuous improvements to the PtP process
When needed, support and train the non-GBS MHC organization on PtP related processes
Support other GBS process teams with various tasks when needed
Process outgoing payments for EMEA markets
Process manual payments and related process improvement
What you’ll need
Experience from working with Account Receivable & Payable related tasks, preferably in an international and/or Shared Service Center environment
Self-motivated, driven and proactive in solving issues as well as suggesting improvements
Knowledge of accounting principles including IFRS
Familiar with SAP
Intermediate Excel skills
Fluent in English (other languages are a plus)
Flexible and capable to adapt and embrace changes
Attention to detail and takes pride in keeping deadlines
Team oriented
Good communication skills and capability to interact with many stakeholders with a customer service mindset
Constantly seeking for digital harmonization and improvements
