Job Description:
As a PTW (Permit to Work) Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our construction projects. Your primary responsibilities will include daily coordination of permit issuing to contractors, conducting site pre-start and post-work assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
You will be responsible for managing a team of 20 people at the site
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
High experience in managing PTW Teams, preferably with Oil and gas background, or renewable energy
Able to provide KPI and monthly reports
Trade qualification in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines.
Required training/certifications: SSG (Safe Systems of Work), WAH (Working at Heights), Hot Works, Gas Tester, Confined Space.
Fluent in English.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage the issuance of permits to contractors.
Conduct site pre-start and post-work assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure safe work practices and adherence to procedures.
Review and approve work permits, ensuring all necessary precautions are taken.
Perform periodic safety audits and inspections.
Assist in incident investigations and report findings.
Provide safety training and guidance to employees and contractors.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to permits and safety activities.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
