Public Policy Manager
The public policy manager will support the the team that works towards Sweden Government Affairs in Stockholm. The candidate will join a team driving outreach and engagement on a range of public policy issues, including security, privacy, and cloud policy.
We are seeking a colleague who enjoys working independently but collaboratively in a collegial team environment within a fast-paced and dynamic company, and who is enthusiastic about developing practical approaches to policy issues. The candidate should be capable of assuming and researching vast amount of information, identifying core topics to focus on and should be able to build a solid understanding of Swedish policymaking institutions and build connections among relevant policymakers and influencers.
• Support the Rhythm of the Business for Swedish team which includes planning, execution and progress aligned with global direction
• Monitor, research and identify relevant tech policy matters, stakeholder mapping and produce needed analyses and reports
• Liaise with other European teams our customer operates
• Support on executive visits and provide hands on support on public policy events
• Attend assigned external meetings, produce briefs and represent our customer
• Execute with high integrity

Education:
Ideal candidate has minimum 3-year experience in a field with correlating responsibilities such as student organization, policy consultant, policy advisor. We are primarily looking for a candidate with public policy and/or law background.
The candidates we are looking for are fluent in Swedish and English, only candidates with a Swedish work permit already in place will be taken into consideration. The position is going to be based at our clients’ Swedish office in the city center of Stockholm. This is a project position with a length upwards to 18 months depending on the budget and the candidate.
