About the job
In this position, you drive our earned media activities, in collaboration with brand- and senior leadership you set the PR strategy, identify solid PR opportunities, and execute the plan together with local marketing teams. Information flows are proactively tended to through press releases, blogs, and other outbound activities, where you also publish content websites, social channels, blogs and other outlets. You map and identify sought out industry influencers and plan collaborations regarding where to maximize output. Being an external correspondent for our company, you help increase visibility of the organization’s executives and subject matter experts (SMEs) through speaking and editorial opportunities, together with managing participation in different industry awards programs.
You’re responsible for the budgeting and contact with external firms, and furthermore look for an interlock towards field marketing and our internal communication groups to enable effective collaborations. You ensure our external crisis management communication are up to par, and look over our ROI for all PR activities, ensuring we’re creating content of value to support brand awareness, reputation and ultimate sales growth.
You’re based in either Sandviken or Stockholm, and some international travel is included in this role.

About you
We’re looking for someone with experience from a journalistic profession or previous employment in PR, accompanied by hands-on experience in B2B, PR issues and proven leadership qualities. Earlier involvement in the tech industry is beneficial to this role. Efficient fluency in both written and spoken English is a requirement, and skills in Swedish are also a big plus.
You’re an effective communicator with an analytical, critical, and proactive mindset. Having solid leadership capabilities, you work in a humble, decisive, and encouraging way, where accountability, integrity and credibility lay the foundation of all your decision-making. Your curiosity and genuine passion for PR make you stay ahead in spotting trends and finding new ways of working.
