ValueOne is looking for a purchaser for a five month assignment at a manufacturing company in Gothenburg. The assignment is to be assigned as soon as possible with a strong possibility for a permanent position after completing the assignment.
The role
The assignment means that you will develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies and processes along with your colleagues in the purchasing team in Gothenburg, China and USA. Your daily work will consist of both strategical- and operational tasks.
Main tasks:
Work with negotiation strategies and close deals.
Drive and perform cost and scenario analysis
Conduct benchmarking to manage and mitigate risks.
Work in close collaboration with stakeholders from the Delivery Organization, Finance and Business Strategy.
You will report directly to the Head of Partnership of Purchasing and be a part of the Finance/Purchasing team.
Experience and competencies
The ideal person for this assignment must have previous purchasing experience from a similar position and be familiar with sourcing and supplier management. The role also requires project leading experience and fluency in English, both written and oral. A degree in business administration or a related field is desirable.
We are looking for an independent team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You are a strong decision maker and problem solver able to take on strategical as well as operational tasks. Your negotiation skills are well developed, and you have structured and highly organized mindset. Additionally you like driving change and improvements.
