The role

As a Purchaser at Svea Solar you'll ensure appropriate inventory levels of products connected to our offering. You will be in the center of the powershift where you will have a huge impact not only on how we work today, but also how the department will operate in the future. It’s a team of three purchasers, working close to the logistics team and our warehouses, all reporting to our Head of Global Procurement Marie Zäll (https://www.linkedin.com/in/marie-z%C3%A4ll-6835417b/).

In detail:

- Monitor inventory and place purchase orders for stock and projects
- Ensure appropriate inventory levels and implement changes
- Register order confirmations and ETA in Business Central
- Ensure goods are received on time
- Register maintenance of purchasing articles and item structures in business systems.
- Handle deviations in quality or delivery times and report incidents in production
- Responsible for maintenance of our purchasing portal; register new suppliers, make sure items/prices are updated, attest of placed orders etc.
- Negotiate agreements of indirect material.

With this said, we have a few things that we find important to succeed in this role:

- Previous experience from purchasing
- Experience of working with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics BC.
- Experience of negotiating prices and agreements
- Experience of working with international suppliers
- Fluent in English and Swedish
