The Role

We are now looking for a Purchaser who will be playing an important role in our Sourcing and Supply Chain Management team.

In the role as Purchaser you will mainly divide your time between operational purchasing and supply/demand planning. You will be working in close collaboration with strategic sourcing, logistics, R&D, and external suppliers. Your tasks will include the handling of purchase orders and invoices, following up on delivery schedules, and securing that agreed purchasing terms and conditions are followed. You will also be handling supplier forecasts and work with internal stakeholders to ensure the supply to our customers and development projects. Another important part of the role will be to take part in setting supply chain processes and procedures.

You will be responsible for:

- Generation, distribution, and continuous follow-up of purchase orders for planned needs as well as stock replenishment.
- Order-specific negotiations with suppliers.
- Handling requests from internal & external stakeholders as well as invoicing.
- Actively follow-up suppliers and develop the collaboration.
- Update parameters and ensure basic data in ERP.
- Continuously work to improve the order-to-delivery process.


To be successful in the role you have:

- Proficiency in ERP software and can easily familiarize with new business systems
- Good communications skills
- Structured, solution-oriented and self-going
- Speak and write fluent English
- Great collaborator

We believe that you have:

- Preferably an academic degree in engineering, business, or similar.
- A minimum of 3 years of work experience from a similar role.
- Experience from working in a technical company, preferably within manufacturing.
- Speak and write fluently in English.
- You have experience from working with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics BC.
