Your role

Purchasing, logistics and customer order handling are the basis in our supply team. The team consists of about 10 employees that handles purchasing, production planning, logistics and export control, customer order handling and dispatch as well as production and customer support.

Your main tasks are:

* To have a close contact with our suppliers, both domestically and internationally, in order to handle purchase orders on an operational basis
* To evaluate both existing and new suppliers, on a strategic basis, with respect to Saab requirements
* To contribute to our ways of working and processes in our management system
* To participate as the purchasing representative in project teams set up with sales representatives, engineers and project managers
* To be part of the overall planning process in the supply team

Your profile

We believe that you have a good understanding of purchasing and logistics. It is beneficial if you have a background within purchasing of mechanical parts and COTS (Commercial-Off-the-shelf Products).

We also believe that you have a good knowledge of the MS Office package as well as experience of working in ERP systems. In your role, you will both have internal and external contacts, which demands a high level of communication and good skills in both English and Swedish.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

You will be part of a dynamic and enthusiastic team of about 50 people located at Saab's site in Hackefors, Linköping. The site covers all functions required by a small independent company within the company, from marketing and sales, to product development, production planning, customer support and logistics. Saab TransponderTech is part of Business Area Surveillance. We operate on a commercial market with relatively short sales cycles and are market leading with a truly global customer base.
