Purchaser

We are looking for an experienced purchaser / family buyer who is ready for a new challenge! A family buyer at Valeo Engine Cooling is responsible for purchasing raw material and production items as well as managing global supplier relationships. In an active way participate in compilation of budget figures and purchasing strategy are important tasks. We do also except the family buyer to define and monitor the QCD-supplier performance and as quality have always been very important at Valeo the buyer is an active support to the PQA/SQA-engineers regarding quality management and assurance. The purchasing department is responsible for compiling and presentation of statistics as well as negotiation and completing of businesses. The atmosphere is very international and result oriented including ambitious supply targeted in Low Cost Countries. We think that you have a M.Sc in Engineering or Industrial relations and 2-3 years of relevant industrial experience or a B.Sc in Engineering or Industrial relations and 3-5 years of relevant experiences. It is important that you have a proven ability to cooperate with individuals as well as work in groups. Good verbal and communication skills in English, German, Spanish and Swedish are sufficient and knowledge of Eastern Europe and their languages is an advantage.
