In the role Purchaser you will work in an inspiring atmosphere surrounded by result-oriented colleagues in a team always striving for highest material availability at lowest possible cost in an exciting industry. As a Purchaser responsible for covering material needs at SAS home bases where material needs to be delivered on-time, at best cost and above all by following applicable authority regulations. This requires purchasing skills and preferably an understanding of aviation regulation, certification need and traceability requirements. Your challenge to work in is ensuring a high material availability at SAS bases upon Production Planning request at the lowest possible total cost in order to meet the airlines needs in accordance with current regulations and processes.
Challenges you will work on
Generate, distribute and continuously follow-up of purchase orders for planned need as well as stock replenishment. When doing this, you will have daily contact with external suppliers as well as internal stakeholders i.e Planning, Production, Engineering and Finance. It is your responsibility to actively choose the most efficient transport and sourcing alternative. In other words, you will take ownership of each order generated within the system until delivery and secure that delivery of material is done according to order requirement.
As a Purchaser at SAS, you will work on:
* Follow up of supplier related data and performance.
* Continuously evaluate and improve processes related to own work duties.
* Participate in relevant and applicable improvement projects.
* Take ownership and deliver on the department's set goals
To be successful in this role, we believe you should have:
* 2-3 years of professional experience
* Post-secondary education (minimum Bachelor or equivalent) within fields Purchasing / Logistic / Supply Chain / Production
* Good analytical skills
* Good understanding of maintenance Operations
* Knowledge of EASA regulations in Part-M and Part-145, desirable
* Good knowledge of quality system related activities
* Knowledge of purchasing/logistic processes at a global level
* Master one of the Scandinavian languages as well as English in both speech and writing
* Competence within MS Office package, mainly Word, Excel and Outlook
