Our offer

For our global client within the energy sector, we are looking for a Purchaser and Contract Manager for a consulting assignment in Uppsala. The employment rate is 80 % of full time and expected to begin immediately with duration of 8 months.

Responsibilities

In the role as Purchaser and Contract Manager you will work in reviewing contracts and support and perform contract negotiations for projects in heat, cooling, accumulator, bio-oil and flue gas cleaning. You have the full responsibility for the purchase process and the purchaser role, you will manage the daily purchase and to check that these are in line with defined strategies to ensure project delivery. It also includes the work to identify the contractual obligations.

This position comprises both the commercial support in various aspects to the projects, all through the life time of a project, and a purchaser role involving a wide range of responsibility during the complete purchase process.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have experience as:
University degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Procurement, Commercial)
Project Management and Project Implementation experience
Negotiation, Contracting and Risk Management experience
Minimum 3 years working experience
Very good knowledge of English and Swedish, written and spoken
Very good computer skills and knowledge of working with MS office, furthermore it is an advantage if you have experience with SAP and VPMM.
Experience of procurement in energy sector beneficial
Experience of public procurement processes including knowledge of EU and Swedish legislations (LUF) beneficial
Experience within construction or construction related activities beneficial

Personal skills

As a person, you have a good analytical understanding, are structured and have good communication skills. You enjoy working in teams and are operated with a high level of, initiative, innovation and commitment. Furthermore, you are comfortable working in an international environment and are an engaged and reliable person.
