The supply chain is a key enabler of Axis growth, and as we grow it is vital for us to develop our global supply chain to support our growth ambitions and opportunities. Axis is now searching for a new colleague to join us on this journey as a Purchaser in the Material Supply team, part of our Global Supply Chain organization.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Material Supply team is responsible for ensuring the right material & component availability for all of Axis products at our sites around the world. We are 20 persons within the team working in different commodity groups, acting on a global level.
We are now looking for a new Purchaser joining our Material Supply team. In this position you will be responsible for balancing and coordinating the supply for a specific product group of Pack and Print. To manage this you will work closely with the suppliers on a daily basis. You will also work together with other internal interfaces, interpret our existing and expected demand together with current stocks and the supplier's ability to supply. Part of your responsibility here will naturally also be to interpret and monitor related KPIs and data as well as drive activities to realise improvement.
In your role you will not only work closely with our suppliers but also with several other functions across organizational borders, e.g. Sourcing, Industrial Lead, Demand Planning and other departments at Operations.
As a Purchaser in our team you will also:
* Ensure right material availability to meet our customers demand on time
* Place and coordinate orders
* Identify and act on supply deviations and/or gaps
* Balance and plan material availability
* Track and monitor master data and KPI´s
* Supply review meetings with suppliers
* Drive improvement activities for internal process as well as supplier performance and collaboration
* Invoice handling
* Contribute in process development projects with the team and cross-functional, within the company.
This is a permanent position located at our headquarter in Lund.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe that you are an analytical person with a strong personal drive and problem-solving skills. You are for sure a team player but also thrive working independently, planning your own activities, eager to learn and develop. We believe you enjoy working in an innovative, high paced and developing environment and organization. You naturally master this with ease with your good organizational skills as well as your ability to see both the details and the big picture - making the right priorities. You easily co-operate across organizational borders, build strong collaboration and relations with key stakeholders.
We believe that you have:
* Master or bachelor's degree in related area
* Minimum two years' experience in a similar position
* Experience working in an ERP system, preferably IFS or similar
* Experience from working in an international organization
* Good general supply chain knowledge and understanding of purchasing process
* Very good English skills both written and verbally
