Azelio is a Swedish public company in the game of improving the world. We have a solution to one of the biggest challenges facing humankind today: How to supply affordable and renewable power on demand where it is needed at all hours of the day. Combining a game-changing energy storage technology with emission free energy production, cleaner than established renewable technologies and at a lower cost than fossil alternatives.
Azelio is in an extensive expansion phase with recent installations in Sweden, Morocco and in Abu Dhabi. Several MOUs has been signed globally during 2019 and 2020 and two commercial contracts have been signed, in Sweden and in Dubai with installations during 2021. Azelio’s award-winning technology has received substantial global attention for its unique ability to store renewable energy and provide affordable and clean power on demand all hours of the day.
Therefore, we need to strengthen the Azelio Supply Chain Management (SCM) team with motivated and talented people.
Today, we are approximately 28 people located in Gothenburg, Uddevalla, and Åmål. We are responsible for Supplier Quality, Procurement, Cost Management, Logistics, and Supply Chain, and support our product development and product industrialisation.
As our IDM&S purchaser, your challenge will be to build up the structure of Indirect Procurement Categories from scratch. This involves analysing and defining the procurement scope, identifying the stakeholders, establishing working processes and tools, and at the same time carrying out all related purchasing activities.
You will work virtually with all Azelio departments to support investments and growing indirect spend as we are in a rapid expansion phase. This implies that your tasks and purchase content are expected to vary with time requiring a high degree of flexibility, pro-activity, and curiosity.
We need you who has passion and experience to drive these tasks, whilst being flexible and service-minded in the day-to-day business.
Job Profile
- Categorize the spend portfolio, make a spend analysis and propose corresponding sourcing strategies
- Initial focus will be on manufacturing equipment and/or IT spend
- Negotiate with new and existing suppliers, manage contracts, and ensure timely delivery and follow-up supplier performance
- Benchmark current business to find opportunities of optimizing categories and cost
- Promote cost optimization and improvement programs in partnership with your stakeholders
- Work closely with the organization, be the go-to person for supplier development questions as well as being subject matter expert in the procurement field
- Identify supply risks and apply relevant strategies to mitigate the potential negative impact
- Support the implementation of processes and tools to manage the IDM&S portfolio
- Handle Purchasing administration on ERP, issue and manage the PO, handle blocked invoices
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Experienced in contract negotiation in an international environment
- Experience with leasing and rental agreements of equipment is a strong plus
- Team player with a strong drive and a positive attitude
- Committed, self-starting, taking responsibility
- Good computer skills including MS Office, strong in Excel, experience in Monitor is a benefit
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
