PURCHASER TO CUSTOMER IN AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY - GOTHENBURG

Kvalifikationer
- At least 3 years experience within purchasing or in a similar position.
- Be familiar with sourcing and supplier management and have interest in market dynamics along with business sense.
- Experience in leading projects.
- You are comfortable making decisions and driving change and continuous improvement aligned with the company strategy.
- You are fluent in English in both speech and writing.
- A degree in Business Administration is desirable but not a requirement.

Job Description
We are now looking for a Purchaser to our client in the automotive industry that will work both strategically and operational! In the role you will develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies and processes. Your tasks will among others be to track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. You will also work with negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms. In addition you will together with the purchasing team drive and perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking to manage and mitigate risks. You will work together with 3 colleagues in Gothenburg, and you will also work with the purchasers in China and U.S. You will report directly to our clients Head of Partnership of Purchasing and be a part of the Finance/Purchasing team.

To thrive in the role of Purchaser you have excellent communication skills and have the ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as to think strategically and operationally. You have the ability to work independently and have the talent of critical thinking and possess negotiation skills. You also have excellent interpersonal- and relationship skills and you are detail oriented and highly organized, with a structured mindset. You are interested in market dynamics along with business sense and have solid judgement along with decision making skills.

Salary
Salary as agreed.

Admission and Application
Full time position and office hours, 40 hours / week. The assignment is expected to start 2022-02-27 and is expected to run until 2022-07-31 with the chance of being hired by our client after the assignment period.
