We are now looking for a Purchaser to be a part of our Sourcing & Purchasing team located in
Gothenburg, Sweden.

Responsibilities

As a Purchaser you will be the one that handles the day-to-day orders in SAP (our ERP system) and
supplier quality issues. Together with your colleagues you ensure that orders are done in an efficient
manner. You will also ensure that we continuously update the information about our articles and
suppliers in SAP to minimize errors and speed up our work. You will regularly extract data from SAP
and process it in Excel to create tables, diagrams and similar.

You need to create strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers,
relationships that are based on trust and mutual respect.

We also expect you to be proactive in the sense that you evaluate our existing supplier base and
variety of parts together with colleagues on the strategic side. This should lead to Icomera paying
the right price for the right parts from the right suppliers. Your stakeholders within Icomera will
primarily be Supply Chain, Production and those working in the regions related to specific customer
projects.

Our Sourcing & Purchasing department is currently in a development phase as we are improving our
processes and getting things sorted. We expect you to be up for this challenge!

Your main tasks are:

● Placing orders in SAP, receiving OA and handling supplier quality issues (internal/external).
● Ensuring that information in SAP regarding suppliers and parts is kept up to date.
● Extract data from SAP for processing in Excel and supply reports to your team when needed,
based on that data.
● Monitor and analyze the spend/parts/suppliers together with internal stakeholders.
● Keep a close dialogue with your colleagues and support each other when needed.
● Support your colleagues outside the team in the Purchasing processes, to ensure that we
handle purchasing in an efficient and correct manner.

You will report to our Head of Global Sourcing and Purchasing, located in the Gothenburg office.
The focus is on the WE, on the team and what they need. Taking responsibility for your work,
generates possibilities to grow and have an impact on the role for the future. It is expected that you
take on that responsibility and seek advice whenever you get stuck or need support.

We believe you are:

A purchaser with a good eye for details and likes to work in a structured manner. You always do your
best and support your colleagues whenever they need it. In a similar way, they will support you.
You need to have excellent communication skills and also be able to stand up for your opinion. You
need to be able to challenge different opinions using your knowledge in purchasing while
maintaining an open dialogue. Our corporate language is English but our team in Gothenburg speaks
both English and Swedish on a daily basis.

It is a requirement that you:

● Have a post-secondary education within Purchasing or similar, at least a YH but preferably
with a bachelor's degree or higher.
● Have at least 3-5 years of experience from purchasing.
● Have a good understanding of SAP (or similar ERP system).
● Have excellent skills in communication and work in an organized way.
● Have good computer skills and are used to Microsoft 365 environment.
● Have an good aptitude for numbers and “customer service” mindset towards all your
colleagues.
● Speak and write fluently in English and Swedish.

It is also desirable if you:

• Have experience from Telecom or Electronics industry (desirable but not essential).
