Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Purchasing Business Developer to join our dynamic team.
What You Will Do:
Program Facilitation: Identify key cost-saving initiatives, organize cost workshops, and lead negotiation events.
Representation: Represent Purchasing in internal cross-functional forums and budget discussions.
Community Support: Provide support to the buyer’s community during escalations, ensuring the allocation of internal resources and removing roadblocks.
Budget Management: Manage the engineering and tooling budget, assist in budget allocation, and escalate issues to the Program Council when necessary.
Reporting Duties: Present the Cost Program’s status updates in cross-functional forums.
What You Bring:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Project Leadership: Demonstrated project leadership experience.
Planning and Prioritization: Ability to plan effectively, understand your purpose, and make the right prioritizations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Self-motivated with the ability to interact comfortably across various functions within the organization.
Communication Skills: Clear communication in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Swedish is preferred.
Operational Support: Support buyers in your team with operational tasks.
Industry Experience: Previous experience in automotive purchasing or purchasing within large organizations is advantageous.
