Description
General Purchasing Group in Lund and Cluster Central & North Europe, is looking for a Purchasing Manager that will be responsible for and drive key strategic and operational purchasing activities within the production related categories: Maintenance Repair Operations (MRO) and Factory Capital Equipment (FCE).
As Purchasing Manager you will be a member of the cluster SM Management Team and report directly to the Purchasing Director.
In this independent and wide role you will be a key player in strengthen and improve our focus on production related purchases. Your work will be, in close cooperation with our producing units and its local organisations, to define strategies, find synergies, drive compliance and negotiate agreements.
Your work will include a large part of negotiations and coordination, with our suppliers and internally with our different stakeholders. Your achievements will impact our result to a large extent and you will be exposed to senior management. To be successful you need to be experienced in driving change, demonstrate clear leadership, show a good level of informal authority with stakeholders on all levels as well as diplomatic skills.
Main responsibilities
- Ensure deployment and implementation of strategies and synergies between local Supplier Management organisations
- Secure targets and KPI's achievement
- As a Category leader for MRO be responsible for develop and implement category strategies
- As a Local Process Driver drive Supplier Management process performance and compliance
- Drive sourcing and contracting activites including writing and negotiating agreements
Qualifications
You have a Technical or Economical University degree and a good understanding and experience of production and relevant working methods such as Lean/WCM. You have several years of experience from Supplier management.
Strong drive, good networking skills and result orientation together with skills in supplier management, negotiation cost analysis and processes are essential. You have leadership experience, both formally and informally. A good command of Swedish and English, both written and spoken, is necessary. Knowledge of advanced Excel and SAP are a merit.
