We are currently looking for an engaged Purchasing Manager with good negotiation skills. As our Purchasing Manager, you will be part of our Product Development Department and be responsible for all areas within purchasing. To thrive in the role, we believe that you have solid experience within the field, are solution-oriented and self-motivated.

Your main focus areas & responsibilities are:

Develop and manage relationships with suppliers

• Be responsible for the communication towards our vendors
• Responsible for onboarding new Suppliers
• Gather and review quantitative and qualitative KPIs from internal stakeholders and address to Suppliers.

Negotiation with suppliers

• Negotiate and improve our payment terms with suppliers
• Calculate and negotiate the terms with vendors, based on internal targets

Production and sourcing

• Plan and reserve capacity for each vendor/division of double sourced item
• Monthly production plan and prioritize orders based on launches
• Responsible for sourcing in collaboration with Production & Quality Manager

Budget and cost control

• Main responsible to create and monitor monthly spent
• Responsible for final cost negotiation with vendors
• Control monthly supplier invoices and purchase prices

Product availability

• Responsible for the planning of initial purchase for new collections
• Ensure adequate supplier capacity to ensure launch in time

People management

• Manage a team of 2 people, providing coaching and support (Quality manager and Purchasing Coordinator)

Requirements

• University degree (Bachelor or higher) in Fashion or Business
• 4+ years’ experience in the fashion industry as it relates to development and production
• Strong Excel skills (Microsoft Office)
• Good negotiation skills and a commercial mindset.
• Fluent in English
• Experience managing a small team is seeing as an asset

Other:

• This is a temporary position, 1 year agreement
• The position is estimated to be carried out 100%
• The position is based in Stockholm
• You will report to our CPO
