The position
Do you have a big interest in market dynamics? Do you have strong business sense and great negotiation skills? Do you already have some work experience within supply and logistics, and want to be a part of establishing a new purchasing function?
If so, we have the fantastic opportunity to join us as a Purchasing Manager! In this role, you will belong to the Finance team and have the overall responsibility for our purchasing function, reporting to our CFO. You will work hands-on with daily purchasing activities, negotiate contracts, and coordinate inventory controls to determine and manage inventory needs. You will also have strategic responsibility and have a key role in leading, developing and executing new purchasing strategies.
As a Purchasing Manager, you will have many contacts in the organization since the work includes liaising with other departments and leadership to identify their supply needs. You will also support the organization with SRM activities.

About you
To succeed in this role, we think that you are a great communicator with excellent negotiation skills along with strong critical thinking. You have a commercial mindset with an eye for details and knowledge of how to evaluate market conditions and different suppliers. We also believe that you like to work independently as much as being a team player, when collaborating with internal team and stakeholders regarding their supply needs.
Requirements
- 3+ years working experience within supply, logistics, planning or equivalent
- Degree in Business administration, supply chain management, logistics or related field
- Good knowledge or experience in writing and handling legal texts in contracts and agreements
- Familiar with sourcing and vendor management
- Ability to gather and analyze data and work with figures
- Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, both written and verbal
It's a bonus if you
- Experience of establishing a purchasing function within an organization
- Experience with IT-related suppliers and cost
Place of employment: Stockholm och Linköping

Scope: Full time
Form of employment: Permanent employment, 6 months trial period
