About the job
In this position, you’re responsible for the purchasing department and its process development, where you ensure that both direct and indirect material suppliers deliver according to our forecast, quality and environmental requirements. You also have the responsibility for our supplier development where you ensure that the department suggests and implements improvements aligned with our business needs and strategy as well as legal requirements. You work closely with the Sourcing department regarding contract negotiations and strategic tasks. You also work closely with the planning and production team. Participating in the SAP rollout, you contribute with your valuable process and purchasing knowledge.
The location for this position is Sandviken.
About you
We’re looking for someone with a relevant university degree combined with extensive work experience within the field of purchasing. As we operate in a global setting, excellent written and verbal skills in English are required, and it’s beneficial if you have knowledge in Swedish.
As well as your background is essential, we’re equally passionate about your personality. This position calls for excellent leadership skills and the ability to set and work towards clear goals. You’re a motivating leader and a well-developed communicator, inspiring your team to great results. With your strategic, analytical, and holistic view, you respond timely to business requirements and build genuine and long-lasting relationships with both internal and external partners.
