General Information
Time for a new exciting job after the summer vacation? We are looking for a Manager to lead the group Project Purchasing Interior within the department Cab & Electronics. You will be responsible to drive and coordinate purchase activities in pre-development and development projects for components such as Instrument panels, Air deflectors, Side skirts, Tanks, Exterior parts, and other plastic parts.
The responsibility
Team responsibilities include keeping track of the project timelines and other purchasing deliverables, such as supplier negotiations, nomination activities, forming sourcing strategies, and prototype purchasing. In addition, also prepare for cross-functional decision points throughout the projects. The team supports the organization to give the best possible quality regarding estimations of investments in supplier tools, material cost into the projects, as well as monitor and following up on deviations and changes. Early active involvement in the PD-Process is key to achieving sufficient design at the lowest possible cost and sufficient timeline.
