Bernd Nufer, our VP of Identity Services, is looking to strengthen the Purchasing team with a talented senior Purchasing Manager to join our Stockholm office.

What you’ll do at Nexus

As a Purchasing Manager, you will develop, lead, and implement sustainable purchasing strategies to acquire quality materials within the market, among all types of procurement, you will lead negotiations with employment agencies, rental- or insurance companies, logistics services, and others.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- You will transform an existing team of operational buyers into a strategic purchasing unit for the entire organization.

- You will identify the organization's purchasing needs. This will lead to researching, selecting, and assuring quality products and materials. You will also provide internal support to other departments on the technical use of the products.

- You will build relationships with suppliers and negotiate to acquire the best price, quantity, and lead time.

- You will process requisitions, update inventory, manage stock levels in relevant systems, and update management on the status of orders.

- You will analyze the target market, understand trends, and make informed buying decisions to ensure that we have market-priced products with the right profit margins and reduce our supplier and logistical costs so we can preserve effective internal processes relevant to the supply chain.

- You will coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders such as the inventory, management, supply, sales, and other teams.

- You will monitor the stock quality and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management when necessary.

- You will educate and support junior team members with product knowledge and purchasing

About you

- You know how to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively. You ensure that hand-offs are correct and take pride in accuracy and precision.

- You possess sharp analytical skills which allow you to handle difficult or unexpected situations in the workplace as well as complex business challenges.

- You take responsibility for your work and independently structure the approach and drive processes and projects with minimal guidance. Still, you also know how to lead, motivate, and empower others with the capacity necessary to achieve common goals effectively.

- You work well with other people and relate to them in a responsive and smooth way. You understand the importance of listening, communicating, and resolving conflicts in a constructive way.

- You are a pragmatic and innovative hands-on problem solver who enjoys driving initiatives and making them succeed. You are business driven and own a positive growth mindset.



Qualifications

- You possess a university degree and equivalent relevant experience.

- You are experienced in leadership/people management.

- You are experienced in working autonomously and building your own ecosystem of support functions inside a team.

- You are experienced in purchasing and supply chain, as well, as in frameworks and standards.

- You possess a professional working proficiency level in English and Swedish.

- You are experienced in project management and negotiation.



Preferred Qualifications

- You are experienced in purchasing electronic devices and equipment.

- You have a good understanding of supply chain management.
