Purchasing Manager Secondary Raw Materials

Boliden Smelters is looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to our Raw Materials department. The Raw Materials department is part of Business Area Smelters within Boliden, responsible for purchasing raw materials globally for the Groups copper, nickel and zinc smelters.

The Secondary Raw Materials Purchasing Managers have the primary goal to support the smelters strategy of securing the most profitable raw materials mix within the technical limits to maximize long term profitability. The location is Rönnskär.

As a part of the team your area of responsibility includes, but is not limited to:

- Sourcing of recycled metal materials for Bolidens two copper smelters
- Negotiate and execute a variety of commercial contracts
- Represent Boliden at international trade fairs and conferences
- Developnew markets

You will report directly to the Manager Secondary Raw Materials.

Education and Qualifications
As a person you are structured, motivated and goal-orientated. Furthermore, you are a team-player with good social skills and capable of building long-term relationships. Continuous improvements and problem-solving, both on a detailed and overall level, is something with which you have experience and look forward to in a new position.

To be considered for this position, you need:

- Relevant university/college degree
- Relevant professional experience
- Commercial/marketing experience
- Negotiation experience from international business
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Swedish class B driving license

It is considered a merit if you have knowledge of Lean and/or TQM management, are familiar with the metals / recycling industry and have pricing and risk management skills. Other foreign language skills are also viewed favorably.

The position involves frequent travel, both domestic and international.
