You will work in close co-operation with the local Sourcing, business buyers & accounting and Purchasing Centre (Ostrava, Czech Republic) with a direct reporting line to the Head of Procurement Nordics. You will promote, drive, improve and maintain full optimisation of Purchasing Services across all DPDHL Divisions.
Your main tasks will be:
Promote, drive, improve and maintain full optimisation of Purchasing Services across all Divisions, through:
Developing programmes to increase awareness and convey the service benefits at Divisional and Site level
Increasing the opportunities for Purchasing Centre to conduct competitive bidding processes
Support to reduce the number of bid waivers & After the fact Purchase Orders
Increasing automation rate as per procurement definition
Support catalogue creation and related contracts
Improving coding and categorisation of Purchase Orders
Identifying either sourcing or purchasing consolidation opportunities, leading to increased compliance and savings generation
Improving the relationship between the individual requisitioners and the Purchasing Centre
Supporting the Purchasing Centre with queries and issues and acting as a first point of contact for the Divisions in purchasing topics
Increase awareness of Group Procurement policies & guidelines
Support and coordinate Purchasing Centre team in the 3 bids and 1 buy process as described in the policy.
Be a key member of the project team for any new Purchasing implementation projects with a key focus on ensuring the relevant Division understands and implements the new process effectively
Your profile should look like:
At least bachelor degree or equivalent experience/qualification degree and/or equivalent experience
1-3 years of relevant experience in commercial functions or project management preferable in purchasing and sourcing
1-3 years working experience with purchasing practices and procedures
e-purchasing experience
Energetic, solution-orientated and creative problem solver
Independent work ethic, integrity and loyalty, positive “can-do” attitude
Approachable with good communication skills
Solid written and spoken English and Swedish
Emphatic and relate to people
Self-motivated person taking ownership of assigned tasks
