Purchasing Specialist

Northvolt has an exciting job offer in Equipment Purchasing Team to join our passionate team in Stockholm!
Key responsibilities:
Support project and site teams with strategic purchases and sourcing council approvals
Develops procurement plan/schedule for the site
Work closely with internal departments to help achieving the preset production plan
Act as liaison between vendors and internal requester
Handle local procurement of materials and services
Follow up current contracts with supplier and adjust them to current company standards
Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
Track orders and ensure timely delivery
Has thorough understanding of the local market
Minimize risk by ensuring alternative sources of supply for critical items
Responsible to answer all of the requisitions process and order-related questions

Education/Experience
A degree in Engineering/Economics is preferable
Working experience of more than 2 years in Indirect Materials or Services is preferable
Experience identifying requirements and clearly documenting specifications is preferable
Fluency in Swedish and/or English is required
Experience in working with local suppliers is preferred
Experience and interest in the manufacturing industry is a plus
Team player, able to influence and convince other team members and project stakeholders
