What do we offer
We at People Experience Volvo Cars Torslanda (VCT) will support and facilitate the business transformation to meet our future in strategic, operational, and tactical PX deliverables. Volvo Cars Torslanda is the main production plant for Volvo Cars’ large car models XC90, XC60, V90, and V60. Volvo Cars’ mission is to produce high-quality cars in a stable, efficient, and environmentally friendly production process. PX VCT supports the organization on all production shifts, day- evening- and night.
We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner who will join a group of 19 PX specialists. Together, the team supports VCT managers in their change journey. The VCT PX team has the mission to drive the full people agenda in the management teams. The focus for PX VCT is to secure operational deliveries in the areas of people, culture, competence, and leadership. To meet our targets, we are now seeking a committed and skilled PXBP person for our PX team in the Torslanda Plant. This specific role is for the evening shift, in which you will work in close cooperation together with one more colleague.
Your key tasks
Your main responsibility will be to provide operational and tactical PX support to managers in the whole VCT organization. Your main tasks will be to support and coach the managers.
In your everyday work, you will support, train and coach both experienced and new managers in all PX-related areas, such as people, culture, competence, and leadership. Furthermore, your job will focus on support in labor relations, rehabilitation, staffing, and also act as an internal trainer in the organization. The role also includes leadership- and organizational development and change activities.
You and your skills
To be successful in the role you have a university degree in Human Resources or similar and relevant experience and skills (for example rehabilitation, labor, pedagogy). You are a team player who brings energy and proactively shares your ideas and experience.
On a personal level, you have the ability to deliver on time with high quality. You get things done and like to work in a fast-paced operational environment. You can plan and prioritize with a flexible mindset. Furthermore, you have high integrity and good communication skills. You have the ability to work independently in a structured way. Of course, you have a curious mindset and want to contribute to continuous improvements in all relevant areas. We also see that you are courageous and comfortable challenging others. The VCT organization is running on all shifts. Our company language is English, but we mostly use Swedish within the production plant. Therefore we expect you to be fluent in both English and Swedish.
