Om oss

ISLK is an authorized IB World School offering the Early Years Programme (EYP), the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Middle Years Programme (MYP) to students from 3- 15/16 years of age.

The language of instruction is English with courses being taught by highly qualified pedagogues with IB training and support. The focus is on developing intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills so students can live, learn, work and succeed in a rapidly changing world.

ISLK opened in August 2006 as a service to the international community in the city of Lund. It is available to children of temporary residents in Lund and surrounding districts, and to Swedish nationals who have had a predominantly international education. The school strives to provide high-quality education in a stimulating learning Environment.

Arbetsuppgifter

English Language Support Teacher woking with PYP students with little-to-no English language skills.

Vi söker dig som har

Primary teaching certification, with additional training/certification in English as an additional language.

Experience working with students ages 5 to 11 to develop English language skills in an international setting.

Native English speaker or high proficiency in English.

Previous IB PYP teaching experience 

Proven strengths in collaboration across many age groups, with teachers and learning support assistants.

Demonstrated effective communication with parents in regards to English language learning.

Desired:

Experience and ability to support new students and families arriving to the school with little-to-no English language skills to settle into school.
