Python Developer - Malmö

Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Python Developer to code complex systems and solutions in combination with the FME or ArcGIS software. We Python for analysis and data processing of our customers' systems, databases, or datasets. The databases that we most often integrate with are Oracle, PostgreSQL and SQL Server and we work agile. You’ll work closely with our customers with a high focus on concrete solutions in line with their needs.
What you'll do:
● Coordinate with internal engineering and development teams to understand requirements and develop solutions.
● Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic in collaboration with front-end developers.
● Help in restructuring the existing code and developing machine learning features that are needed.
● Develop a structured and well-thought-out data modelling scheme and implement this throughout the project.
● Develop elegant solutions for complex problems and actively contribute to post-release maintenance issues.
Who you are:
● Expertise in Python, with knowledge of at least one Python web framework (such as Django, Flask, etc depending on your technology stack).
● Understanding of the differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform.
● Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
● Technical experience with GIS (Esri ArcGIS, QGIS, Open layers, etc.), FME, Data Management, Java, .NET, C #, Databases / SQL, JavaScript and React.
● Regularly works across teams to build a culture for iterative, autonomous development and future scaling.
