We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our Client Foundation Area and the Apps Platform team. You’ll be part of a team that focuses on the holistic user experience of our iZettle Go app, our Point of Sale. The team achieves this by enabling other teams at iZettle to deliver high quality features through tooling and a great developer experience. At iZettle you will work with a life-changing product for small businesses all around the world, with hundreds of thousands of users; helping our merchants to grow their business and therefore building a more democratic world.

You will collaborate with QA’s and developers from across the whole organization, through code reviews, bouncing back ideas or mob programming - and together you will make sure we build our product on a solid foundation.
Your responsibilities will include
Together with colleagues in- and outside of the team, take a leading role in shaping our testing strategy for our Android and iOS apps
As part of the platform team, assure quality for core parts of iZettle Go
Coordinate app releases with product teams
Investigating, triaging, visualizing bugs and production issues in Splunk
Visualize, analyze and follow up on app health
Design test plans and test cases to validate new products and improve existing products
The skills you need to succeed
You have solid experience and a genuine passion for testing and are constantly exploring new solutions to problems. You have strong analytical skills and technical understanding, to communicate well with everyone in your team. Additionally, you’ll have:
An automation mindset
Experience working with CI/CD
Solid knowledge of iOS and Android apps testing (Espresso, UI Automator, XCUITest) and app distribution
Basic knowledge of Splunk, Android Studio, Xcode, TestFlight, Firebase
A good understanding of product development, underlying system architecture and user requirements
Nice-to-have skills
Basic knowledge of Java, Kotlin, Swift and/or Objective-C
Experience with Grafana
Backend (API-testing)
