We’re looking for a QA Engineer to ensure that our level of quality is transparent and in control. You will assist development teams to make sure that quality is secured throughout the whole development process and all the way to production. We’re working quickly to get ahead in the Fin-Tech area but we’re careful to take time and follow best practice for the features we put in production. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, designers and other QA Engineers to make sure that test processes, strategy, plans and reports are sufficient to ensure high quality deliveries. You will also identify the overall critical end-to end flows and ensures implementation of various tests together with relevant team members and stakeholders, striving for a high level of automation.
What you’ll do:
- Create processes and conventions for QA such as test strategies, test plans and test processes and documentation of test results to ensure quality of features/projects.
- Work with various frameworks and tools like Selenium, BrowserStack, Specflow, Rest API, Postman/SoapUI, JMeter, Teamcity, Git, Jira etc.
- Contribute to development teams by building a quality driven culture that helps ship products rapidly and with good confidence.
- Review and examine the overall quality of products and guide development team(s) on how to continuously improve.
- Identify performance and automation opportunities for products together with teams and develop exploratory and automated tests when needed.
- Provide input and feedback to ensure that developers write good quality tests (and maintain a good test coverage).
- Ensure that all tests are maintainable over the long term (best practices). Includes making sure that tests are easy to read and understand.
- Evaluate possible tools, libraries and implementations that can be used to increase the general quality assurance and testing confidence during development.
- Participate and execute in release testing process.
- Ensure continuous reporting around quality, status, and risk highlights. to secure that status and quality is clearly communicated.
- Contribute in architectural decisions for Qliro products.
- Proactively assist stakeholders in making the right decisions when it comes to planning new features, highlighting risks and ensuring that a QA perspective is taken into account.
We believe you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 2+ years of quality assurance and test engineering experience.
- Experience in relevant tools and languages, for example Selenium, BrowserStack, Specflow, Rest API, Postman/SoapUI, JMeter, Teamcity, Git, Jira etc.
- Experience in testing and debugging web or mobile applications.
- Hands-on experience with both automated and manual tests, test frameworks, test planning, test designing and execution, performance and stress testing, implementing and maintaining quality test automation of both client and server systems.
- Experience from a dynamic and collaborative agile work environment, working with Scrum, Kanban and other associated support processes
- Knowledge and experience in testing processes such as TDD or BDD and software development life cycle in general.
- Valid work permit within EU.
