We are looking for a passionate and skilled QA engineer to join our team and help us build the future of banking. You will be working on acceptance tests for upgrades and work closely with our business function, helping verify our own platform as well as third-party ones. You will manage and cover UAT and support our development teams to break UAT down to scenarios that can be automated.

Key responsibilities:


• Responsible for running and maintaining business acceptance tests related to Nordax's core banking platform.
• Performing regression tests in coordination with IT and business
• Producing test cases when new functionalities are added
• Testing and verifying core platform maintenance releases
• Providing support to developers with questions regarding

• Test cases, their definition and how to automate them
• Test environments and data


To thrive and succeed in your role, you will need: 

Ideally, you have previous test focused development experience and experience with writing and conducting QA tests. It would be amazing if you have experience working in an agile and test-driven organization, as well as have a rich background in software development. If you are an IT professional with a keen interest in business, then this is the right role for you. 

Requirements:


• Previous experience working in QA testing
• Experience with planning test work and writing test plans
• Experience with supporting test automation
• Experience with writing test cases in a technology agnostic manner in order to support manual and automated implementations and execution of the tests
• Experience of test management systems

Good to have:


• Knowledge of ALM systems like JIRA, HP ALM or TFS/Azure DevOps
• Previous experience working with View21 systems or other core banking platforms
• Having knowledge about or experience in BDD/TDD
• An eagerness to keep learning new disciplines, methodologies, stay up to date with the community, develop best practices, as well as the willingness to teach and mentor others
