QA Engineer – Malmo, Hybrid

Assignment Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated QA Engineer to join our team. This is a hybrid role that requires expertise in QA methodologies, Java programming, API testing, and frontend/backend development. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products, designing and executing test cases, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
What you’ll do:
· Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality and ensure product quality.
· Execute functional, regression, and integration tests to identify defects and ensure that software meets the specified requirements.
· Perform API testing to validate the functionality, performance, and security of application programming interfaces.
· Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to understand system requirements and provide input on design and testability.
· Contribute to frontend development tasks, including designing and implementing user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
· Contribute to backend development tasks, building server-side logic and integrating with databases using Java.
· Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, reproduce, and track defects using issue tracking tools.
· Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in QA methodologies, Java development, API testing, and frontend/backend technologies.
Who you are:
· Solid experience in QA methodologies, including test planning, test case design, and test execution.
· Proficiency in Java programming language for backend development.
· Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in API testing, including designing test scenarios and validating responses.
· Experience with frontend development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
· Familiarity with backend development, building server-side logic, and integrating with databases.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Ability to adapt to a hybrid role, contributing to both QA and development tasks.
· Prior experience working in a hybrid environment is a plus.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
