Because we are expanding our services to Europe and because we are growing rapidly, we are looking for naturally curious and passionate QA Engineers to join our brilliant Development team in Stockholm. Your goal will be to increase test coverage through automation, enhancing our test automation framework, and building new tools to make our testing processes more efficient.

As Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer you will work within an agile environment to develop and execute automated web and mobile app tests to ensure product quality. You will provide technical support to automation project team members and rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Together with the team, you will build products for the European market that will save time, money, and in some cases lives. You will be there from the beginning of the expansion, and will have the opportunity to help create the foundation of our new team. There will be a lot of freedom to find the right solutions and processes with the team as well as having a direct impact on our customers daily lives. Your role with us:

- Provide expert level test automation to grow overall test coverage across the Airspace application solutions (UI, Web Services, and DB)
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to teammates in the process of evaluating, scoping and designing implementation strategy.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Mentor junior engineers, new team members and apply technical expertise to challenging programming and design problems relating to quality engineering.
- Conduct test case and code reviews to ensure scenarios accurately capture business functionality.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate automated testing activities.
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts.
- Identify and evangelize tools that will scale with our team as we grow.
- Work with internal teams (e.g., QA analysts, developers, and product managers) to identify system & product requirements.
- Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine required automation improvements and modifications.
- Ensure automated solutions conform to both industry and company standards.
- Identify components required for application implementation and provide guidance on how to appropriately implement components.
- Apply senior level software engineering practices and procedures to design, influence, and drive quality and testability of products and services.


What you will be working on:

- Exciting and complex problems within the time-critical logistics domain;
- Ruby on Rails application with a React (MobX) UI used by external customers and internal operations teams;
- API Integrations with different providers from airlines to courier partners;
- existing or new microservices to assure that our architecture is scalable enough to handle our growth;
- smaller features and fixes as well as bigger architectural changes;
- writing tests and being part of improving our code delivery pipelines.

- Proficient in programming language(s) with solid knowledge of common frameworks
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- Must have a working knowledge of Quality Assurance Methodologies, including automated QA systems
- Experience with testing frameworks and code quality tools
- Strong experience with white-box, black-box, web-service integration, and server back-end testing
- Full working knowledge of Github and its best practices as well as the CI/CD process
- Ability to be an independent, self-motivated, proactive, detailed, results-oriented individual
- Excellent oral and written communication ability
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Have experience working in an Agile development environment
