QA / Environmental Engineer

Floatel International AB is a Swedish registered company established in 2006 with two semi-submersible accommodation support vessels under construction at Keppel FELS Shipyard in Singapore. The first unit, Floatel Superior, is due for delivery early 2010. We are currently seeking a QA / Environmental Engineer for a permanent position at our Head Office in Mölndal, Sweden. The QA /Environmental Engineer will work in the HSEQ department in close contact with the HSEQ Manager and the Company Management. The responsibilities of the position will consist of; *Responsible for producing, implementing and certifying a Quality and Environmental system for the Company's onshore and offshore activities *Assist with Working Environmental issues *Assist with HSE issues in general *Attend various workshops and conferences *Contact with authorities in audit and certification matters *Performing audits within the scope of work *Produce documentation as necessary We are seeking a dedicated individual with the following qualifications; *Relevant and documented education *Experience from this kind of work, or similar, with good references *Good communication skills and feeling comfortable to work in an international and multi-cultural environment. *Good to excellent command of English, written and spoken *Experience from Norwegian offshore legislation is a plus For more information about Floatel International and about this position, please visit our website at www.floatel.se
