The Role
We are looking for our next QA Lead to our Platform Core domain team. QA Lead is a leader role where you will be the lighthouse and expert within the QA area. As the name reveals the domain is responsible for developing the hard core of our Player account management platform called Rhino. The domain itself is organized into the sub-product domains which all cover parts of the customer journey. In this role you will be part of the domain management team consisting of team leads and architects and work closely with the Product side of the organization.
What you will do:
Owner and driver of implementation of the test strategy
Have a clear ownership via defining and monitoring the main quality KPIs.
Build the QA culture via mentoring and education of team members in QA practices and principles.
Drive the development of a standardized test framework and tooling enabling automation and scale.
Actively participate and sometimes also drive main x team projects.
Be a member of the Core domain mgmt team setting the strategic direction and follow up on progress.
Who are we looking for:
We're looking for a real software craftsman that has experience in Java, Javascript and testing frameworks for primarily backend systems but who also has relevant experience from testing the client side. The better profile also thrives at her best in an atmosphere where learning new technologies is key.
Technical hands on leadership, eyes in the code and fingers on the keyboard.
Sense of awareness and business ownership (product/market).
Proven track record of working in an agile environment.
You have experience with common Java frameworks such as Spring and JPA
You’re no stranger to working with relational databases such as MySQL, Postgresql.
You have experience in building scalable and fault-tolerant systems and are familiar with microservice architectures.
Bonus points for hard skills if you have used (but by no means necessary) Kotlin, Akka, Hazelcast, Elasticsearch, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Consul, Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery.
Extra bonus points for experiences from driving development projects.

Working hours
LeoVegas has a hybrid working environment with 3 days working from home per week and 2 days working from the office as we want to give our employees flexibility to structure their work week while at the same time being able to provide information, team practices and social activities.
