We are now looking for a QA Lead to Telia Finance IT!

In this position you will be central in product and tech development @Telia Finance. You will work closely with our skilled engineers, scrum master, architect, and product owner in a tight knit team where we follow agile methodologies. Your next opportunity

My name is Mattias Lejbrink, and I have just started my job as Engineering Manager B2B in Telia Finance. We are launching a new organizational setup during 2022, where we will move towards continuous deployment, DevOps, and a transformation towards SaaS-based Public Cloud solutions.

As part of this transformation, we will also introduce this new role as QA Lead!

The role

In this role you will act as QA lead for three of our development teams working towards our business clients. You will support and facilitate the teams in creating software of the highest quality, supporting in the gradual transformation from traditional testing practices towards Shift Right QA, using principles as automated smoke testing, feature flags, canary deploys and frequent user feedback.

You will also assist stakeholders in pinpointing their desired effects and describe them in such a way that they may be easily understood and quantifiable.

As QA lead you will work closely with our developers and coach them forward in this new, modern way of working. You will have a crucial role in explaining the importance of this change for different stakeholders, you will have a shared responsibility to create amazing products for our customers and you get to be a part in creating something we are all proud of!

We believe that you have

- 3 or more years of experience in Quality Assurance or Testing
- At least 1 year experience in a lead role such as team lead, project manager or similar
- Worked closely with a software development team
- Experience working with test automation and have an understanding of Selenium
- Excellent spoken and written English

You can communicate with all kinds of people from customers, platform engineers to legal advisors and marketing staff, and you can explain things in a way that people from all backgrounds will understand. You are knowledgeable in qualitative and quantitative studies of user experience. Experience from banking, finance, or insurance if considered a plus, but is to not a must.
