QA Lead/Tester

Arbetsbeskrivning

We are looking for a QA Lead and Tester that wants to be a part of ensuring the top quality of our platform.

This is what you love doing

As our QA Lead/Tester, and first expert in this area, you will identify and implement QA best practices into our development, and release processes to continuously improve and scale our esports platform. This means creating an accessible and functioning testing environment from scratch.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

- Hands-on testing, identifying test cases along with defining and implementing the overall strategy for testing of our products.
- Automate everything that can be automated.
- Implement tools and frameworks used in testing and QA.
- Educate our tech organization on QA and testing.
- Close collaboration with our developers.
- Identify more QA efforts required in the tech department, including areas where you don’t have the expertise and may require to bring in more future QA engineers.

You will be a part of the whole development process; working tightly with our developers, product owners and designers.

This is a full-time position, working from our office in the central of Stockholm.

Who we believe you are

We believe you are truly passionate about quality.

You are not afraid to express new ideas and dare to question the obvious, always with your positive energy! With your analytical mindset, you contribute to the quality of our products throughout the whole development lifecycle, and feel eager to continuously improve the product. You’re curious and keep yourself updated with trends and technologies in your area of expertise.

It’s important that you have a high capacity to plan, organise and optimise the test environment in a way that puts a good mood in the team and prevents QA from becoming a control function instead of a support function.

Requirements:

- Several years of experience from working with QA/testing, preferably both manual and automated testing.
- Experience from building a test environment from scratch or being a part of a similar journey.
- Comfortable and experience from working with testing methodologies and frameworks
- Fluent in English and have excellent writing & communication skills
