QA Manager for airport projekt in Ilulissat

Right now, we are looking to recruit an experienced QA engineer to maintain, update and implement our quality assurance system for our project in Ilulissat.

For the next four years, Munck Civil Engineering is the main contractor on the construction of new airports in Nuuk and Ilulissat. We are constantly looking for new employees within a range of job categories, and currently we are focused on recruiting a skilled and experienced QA manager.

The contract includes construction of runways, taxiways, site preparation for new terminal buildings, production and paving with asphalt, rerouting and connection to access roads, installing electrical, water and sewer lines as well as construction of parking area. Project is planned to be finished at the end of 2023.

Your tasks will include:

-Preparing and revising quality assurance procedures and check lists
-Follow-up on quality control of the work site (supervision, test results, calibrations, materials)
-Updating quality documents
-Assuring access to and correct use of measuring and testing equipment
-Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and handling any deviations

We are looking for someone who:

-Has a technical background, such as an Engineer
-Has at least a few years of experience with QA within building and construction
-Is good at communicating and building relations
-Works in a structured systematic way and who likes to see results
-Is good at understanding and implementing procedures and standards

Experience with / knowledge of working on construction projects in an Arctic environment is an advantage.
