QA - Senior Test Engineer

Who is your future team?

You will be part of a large Quality Assurance department with teams specializing in different types of testing of a wide variety of products and solutions, ranging from firmware-based devices to mobile apps and implementations in the cloud.

Together with developers, architects, and product specialists you will work in a relaxed, open and friendly environment, to create the best products and solutions for our customers.

You will be surrounded by people with expert skills in many different areas, colleagues that are willing to share their knowledge and help you grow. This environment, together with your curiosity, creates the perfect foundation to learn new techniques, processes, and tools.

In total, we are more than 250 talented QA engineers at our HQ in Lund, divided in 15 teams. We want to help you to find the perfect team, so when you send in your application you just answer a couple of questions, and we will propose a match. Senior or junior? What you will do here?
A day in the life at QA could include many different tasks, but they are all performed for the purpose of ensuring premium quality to Axis customers.

The obvious tasks might be to execute and analyze tests. Before execution you will need to understand the system to test, and maybe there is also a need to write a longer-term test strategy for the system you are verifying. Through your frequent interaction with designers and fellow testers, you will learn what and how to test, and with time you will be the person other colleagues turn to for advice.

As a tester at Axis you will work with a variety of test methodologies. You might perform a lot of exploratory testing in order to challenge the products and systems with less predictable scenarios, which at the same time develops your innovative skills. Since we need to have a good

mix of different tests, you might also invest a great deal in the design and implementation of automated tests. If you have the interest, you will be able to engage in developing test environments and tooling.

As a member of QA you will be using existing methods and tools, but since we are constantly evolving, you are encouraged to contribute to the evolution of our ways-of-working as well. It is a natural part of your daily work to get the opportunity to grow together with Axis and the colleagues surrounding you.

Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a curious mindset, open to learn as you take on new challenges. It comes naturally to you to share your insights with colleagues while working your way forward to achieve your goals. You are a person who likes to take initiatives.

We'd love to hear that you have:

· A University degree in Computer Science, or similar

· Knowledge in software design and development

· Experience from working with different aspects of software testing

· An understanding of networks and connected systems
