QA Specialist

Resolution Games is a VR/AR studio focused on creating immersive experiences for all - from gamers to non-gamers alike. Are you an experienced QA professional with a passion for VR? Then you might be what we are looking for.

About the role

As a QA Specialist, you will work across the games team, owning and setting the QA process for a variety of games. You will both plan, write, and execute tests. The team is still very small, consisting of only one person today. Our ambition is to grow the team to be able to assist on more projects and to help make our QA process as good as possible.

What you’ll do

- Testing games in development and verifying functionality, data content, performance, usability/playability, and hardware/software compatibility
- Create manual tests suites to ensure coverage across all levels of the test pyramid
- Documenting defects and write detailed reports on how to reproduce issues
- Keep finding new ways to improve our workflows when it comes to quality


Requirements

- Skilled troubleshooter with solid QA experience
- The ability to write and execute test cases and test passes on game features, functionalities, and content
- Experience in functional testing and logging defects in bug tracking systems
- Experience working with documentation and proficiency in the office package.
- Strong interest for Games and VR
- Excellent english skills, both written and spoken


Nice to have

- Experience with game development
- Experience of working with VR/AR is a plus
