About us
Volvo Cars is on an exciting journey to further improve quality and CMQ (Current Model Quality) is a cross functional global arena for Product Creation (PC), Procurement, Service Business and Manufacturing & Logistic. The PC part of CMQ is divided in global agile teams and are a part of the Propulsion Streams acting as shared service and stakeholders. We also have Plant Vehicle Teams in all our Plants.  

In running production, we investigate and deliver potentials to the Product Streams to maximize our customer value. 
We also lead the implementation of temporary actions in running production and support the Product streams towards Critical Concern Action Process

About you
This role is located within Current Model Quality (CMQ) and is a key role in the Warranty Cost Reduction Team.
As a Warranty Action Leader your focus will be towards potential Field Efficiency (FE) activities and to initiate actions to reduce warranty cost. (This will also improve cost of ownership and Customer satisfaction) To enjoy this position you have a mindset of always finding the best cost-efficient solutions.

About the role
Identify potential high warranty cost reduction items and to initiate actions to reduce warranty cost. WAL work closely together with VCSB representatives and QAL (Quality Action Leader) to identify cost saving activities from many different input sources / indicators.
Actively lead and perform analysis; Define, Measure, Analysis (DMAIC), within area of responsibility. Initiate Interim Containment Action (ICA) and Permanent Corrective Action (PCA). Validation of implementation of action, defined for each of the items and follow-up the introduction.

You and your skill
We are looking for you who has a technical background, an interest and engagement in problem solving. You are analytical, structured and have experience working with product quality.
You have high ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing both in English and Swedish.
You are self-driven, and an individual who has a strong sense of customer satisfaction.
You are not afraid to take lead for a task and make things happen.
