Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior QC Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What You Will Work On:
Utilize your expertise in European directives, with a particular focus on the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) (2014/68/EU) and the Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC).
Apply your deep knowledge of National codes related to European directives.
Leverage your understanding of welding processes and ISO 3834-2 standards to enhance quality control measures.
Oversee and contribute to quality control processes within the mechanical domain, drawing upon 6-8 years of experience.
Maintain compliance with industry regulations in highly regulated sectors like nuclear, life sciences, or oil and gas.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, displaying exceptional communication skills.
Showcase your meticulous attention to detail and well-structured work approach.
Utilize your computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office.
Take advantage of your familiarity with high-speed rotating components, such as compressors and turbines, if applicable.
What You Bring:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent, complemented by relevant work experience.
Alternatively, proven experience in roles similar to this, combined with relevant work experience.
Profound knowledge of European directives, especially the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) (2014/68/EU) and the Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC).
Comprehensive understanding of National codes related to European directives.
Knowledge of welding processes and familiarity with ISO 3834-2 standards, considered advantageous.
Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in quality control within the mechanical domain.
Exceptional proficiency in both written and spoken English.
Strong organizational skills, structured work habits, and a keen eye for detail.
Effective communication skills, enabling collaboration and teamwork.
Proficiency in computer use, particularly in MS Office applications.
Experience with high-speed rotating components, such as compressors and turbines, a significant advantage.
Background in highly regulated industries like nuclear, life sciences, or oil and gas, preferred.
