Volvo Autonomous Solutions is a new business area within Volvo Group. We accelerate the development, commercialization and sales of autonomous transport solutions. The combination of strong technology expertise and skilled customer solutions creates innovative transport offers never seen before. We are constantly pushing our own skills and ability to drive change in a traditional industry to meet a growing customer demand.
You will be part of the Process, Certification and Documentation team. The cornerstones for our team are teamwork and engagement, having fun together and supporting each other in our daily work. We are responsible for Volvo Autonomous Solutions development processes, the complete product documentation and we also ensure full compliance to all applicable regulations, certificates and standards. In our team, we value the strength given by differences in background, knowledge, age, gender, and nationality.
We are now looking for a great Quality, Environment, Health and Safety (QEHS) manager to establish, develop and drive the QEHS agenda for Volvo Autonomous Solutions.
This is what you will do
You will integrate Quality, Environment, Health and Safety (QEHS) into how we run our business to ensure that management of risk and regulatory compliance are overseen at the highest levels. You establish, develop, implement and manage the overall governing QEHS instruments, business principles, policies and processes and proactively work with stakeholders to define our operating model and implement it. To manage and coordinate enterprise-wide governance related efforts and establish sub-committees and working groups are also part of your mission, and you’re responsible to maintain, revise and develop our management system. Acting as our ISO expert you continuously develop our management system and identify weaknesses and gaps in our current processes where you address and support the process owners in their improvement activities.
Your will work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the whole Volvo Autonomous Solutions organization as well as with relevant stakeholders within other parts of the Volvo Group in order to jointly develop and maintain strategic plans and manage activities to minimize liability and/or exposure to the company for quality, environmental, health and safety issues. Together with your network you are also expected to monitor current and future applicable regulatory requirements, perform regulatory impact evaluations and implementation planning, while at the same time, ensuring operational management is informed of all potential impacts.
We are currently introducing new development tools and defining the way we want to run our business, where you will play a key role. Being an entity within the Volvo Group provides us with a solid foundation to stand on when it comes to Quality, Environment, Health and Safety, which we build upon in our context and services.
