QESH Coordinator to Contract Logistics
We are recruiting our new QESH Coordinator to take on the important mission to build and develop the QESH area at Contract Logistics in Arendal.
In December 2021 Contract Logistics opened its first warehouse in Gothenburg that offers customized services within warehousing and terminal operations. With a solid number of new customers as well as an expansion of new business with existing customers, the operational business activities is increasing. Contract Logistics takes a further step forward with yet an additional new warehouse in Arendal, opening the 1st of March.

About the position
In your role as QESH Coordinator your focus is to develop, implement, monitor, and support activities within the areas of quality, environment, safety and health. You work to ensure compliance of GEODIS policies and strategic objectives to reach performance against set targets and KPIs. Furthermore, you work to continuously improve and optimize performance by supporting operations in their daily activities regarding process reviews, action plans and internal training.
Your key accountabilities will be:
- Monitor and coordinate the QESH management system.
- Coordinate the implementation of polices and standards.
- Preparation and participation in internal and external audits.
- Answer internal inquiries from the QESH area.
- Support in risk analysis, root cause analysis and effectiveness control regarding accidents, quality incidents and environmental incidents.
- Coordinate supplier evaluations.
- Monitor and support in the preparation of documented information.
- Internal communication and training of operational staff at Contract Logistics within the QESH area.
- Assist operations in customer discussions concerning quality, environmental and safety matters.
The position is a permanent position starting according to agreement and you report directly to Contract Logistics Manager. We offer the opportunity to work remote two days a week, digital introduction program, wellness half-hour, lunch allowance and much more.
Your profile
To succeed in this role, we believe that you have minimum 2-3 years work experience from a similar role and a good knowledge about environmental protection, occupational safety and quality processes. In your previous roles you have coordinated and reviewed processes within the QESH area and are experienced within risk assessments, effectiveness control and root cause analysis.
The position requires a broad range of contact with customers, suppliers as well as internal colleagues both national and international, which requires that you are a confident communicator in English and Swedish, both verbally and written.
As a person you possess a strong analytical skill and the ability to structure your work to meet set targets. Furthermore, you are a team player with good organizational skills as well as in moderations and presentation techniques that thrives in a role where you train your colleagues.
