An exciting and challenging opportunity awaits you who want to contribute with your expertise, energy and creativity as we are looking for Quality and Material Specification Engineer (Called Quality Engineer) to our factory in Falkenberg. You will report to Quality Manager and belong to a team of six.
In the factory in Falkenberg we are around 400 employees. We are a modern organization with high technology machines and mindset. Technology development and upgrading project are constantly on our agenda. Our productions are within fast moving consumer goods. In our factory we are producing diapers, incontinence products mostly for markets within Central- and East Europe.

About the role
As a Quality Engineer, you are responsible for developing standards for quality measurements in Laboratory and on the Lines. You act as a role model for safety and support the safety improvements. You develop the capabilities tools to assure the right follow up of processes and products and trains RST, quality department and operation crews regarding quality subjects e.g. product specification, quality checks, SPC, validation routines etc.
Furthermore,
You are responsible for the handling and investigation of customer complaints, monitor that activities related to complaints are decided and carried out and carry out trend follow-ups of complaints/causes
You are responsible for compilation and distribution of monthly quality follow-up reports
You are responsible for content of the Material Unit Specification
You ensure incoming raw material control as required

Responsible for the compilation and distribution of reports concerning material
You have the authority to
represent the quality department in internal and external forums
in agreement with the Quality Manager, make decisions on quality issues for the factory
write TPPs and to request a concession acc. agreement with Quality Manager.

To be successful in the role you need to be a communicative team-player who operates with a positive and pragmatic can-do attitude, embracing driving change management and dealing with ambiguity and complexity. You have a flexible and thorough approach and is capable to work independently.
You have:
Minimum requirement of bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferable technical or chemistry) or equivalent experience
Experience from working in a production site is merited
Excellent written and spoken fluency in English is a must. Swedish language is a merit.
