The Quality and Operational Excellence Specialist has the role of deploying and facilitating the quality culture in IEC LV Motors Division, ensuring and controlling quality to exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations, and representing the customer’s voice within local teams, providing customer experience feedback and input.
The role reports to Quality Manager.


Your responsibilities
Being responsible for Quality processes both as project member in core team and for supplier quality.
Taking responsibility for quality and control plans, performing first article inspection (FAI) and performing audits with customer.
Securing quality of incoming goods together with production quality people and investigating deviations within production.
Following up supplier level of quality (PPAP) through quality and control plans, performing audits at suppliers (in Sweden and abroad) and handling deviations with suppliers (ie 8D reports).
Enabling and coaching employees to evaluate risks, problems and solutions from a customer/stakeholder point of view.
Providing quality training to local teams, enabling them to define and document processes that are efficient and under control.
Assisting in implementing internal controls to verify that processes meet requirements, and making sure that control plans are applied and effective in mitigating risks.



Your background
Working experience within quality and proficiency in writing 8D reports
As we are active in rail business and E-mobility segment, knowledge from rail business is meriting (IRIS TS 22163)
You are result-oriented and can work both in teams and independently
You respect and feel comfortable with deadlines
A structured person with focus on developing standardized way of working within quality department Interested in meeting customers in workshop for audits, validation of products etc.
Strong written and spoken communication skills
Fluency in Swedish and English
